Erosion: Highlands of Chiapas
Historically in Los Altos de Chiapas the soil is poor. Coupled with steep slopes, population growth, loss of vegetation cover, inadequate land use; it tends to rapidly erode and as a consequence, it ceases to support life.
The Kisst
It supplies about 40% of the total drinking water in San Cristóbal. In order for users to receive healthy water, it is necessary to improve the existing system.
